AI Is a New Hire: My First Video, and the Idea Behind It
I have just put out my first short video. Here it is, and a few words on the thinking behind it.

The simplest way to think about AI is as a new hire
You get value from a person the same two ways you get it from AI: a clear job to do, and data they can trust to do it with. Give either a vague brief and no reliable numbers, and both struggle. Give them a well-defined job and something solid to work from, and both get good, fast.
Most AI projects do not stall on the technology
They stall because the work was never defined clearly enough to hand over. That is an operational problem, not a technical one. Get the process clear and the numbers trustworthy first, and the rest becomes straightforward. It is the same as onboarding anyone new.
An apprentice you train to leadership
That is what I am building: an apprentice-to-leadership programme for AI. You bring it into the business like a new apprentice, give it a defined role, train it, support it, and grow it until it is running real work. There is a second prize too. A business clear enough to hand work to AI is a business clear enough to run without the owner in every decision. The clarity that makes AI work is the same clarity that gives you your business back.
